A wonderful collection of hand-carved turquoise animals comes together in this unique fetish necklace by New Mexico jewelry artist Matt Mitchell.
 
This necklace features 17 individually hand-carved animal fetishes, each with its own distinctive shape and character. The smaller-scale carvings are strung along turquoise heishi beads, creating a necklace that is intricate and eye-catching without the larger scale of some of Matt Mitchell's other fetish necklaces.
 
At the center is a beautifully detailed Thunderbird with its wings spread, making a striking focal point for the necklace. The turquoise has natural variations in color and matrix, so each carving has its own individual character.
 
The necklace is finished with a sterling silver cone and clasp.
