A fabulous fetish necklace made by renowned jewelry artist Mary Tafoya from Santo Domingo Pueblo (Kewa).
 
Mary Tafoya creates her pieces in a mosaic array of stones & shells. Her work hearkens back to older times when artists made jewelry out of battery casings and LPs when other materials were scarce. 
 
Mary takes this ancient art of mosaic into a more contemporary style, while staying traditional in technique. Her work is colorful and has a great folk art feel.
